Wes Jackson

Wes Jackson has over 25 years of experience as a leader and innovator in entertainment and academia, previously working at Emerson College, The City University of New York, and consulting for Jazz at Lincoln Center. He founded the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival, an annual event that ran for 15 years with the mission to create a world-class event to honor Hip-Hop music and culture and the borough of Brooklyn. Wes has been leading BRIC– a multidisciplinary arts and media institution anchored in Downtown Brooklyn– as its president since July 2022.
